Definition of Terms
Challenge - A test of a company's ability or resources in a demanding but stimulating undertaking.
E-readiness - The state or quality of being ready for electronic technology, such as the internet.
Financial Reporting - The collection, analysis, summarization and presentation of the financial performance of a business.
HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) - A markup language used to structure text and multimedia documents and to set up hypertext links between documents, used extensively on the World Wide Web.
Internet - An interconnected system of networks that connects computers around the world.
Opportunity - A favorable or advantageous circumstance or combination of circumstances.
PDF (Portable Document Format) - The native file format for Adobe Systems' Acrobat for representing documents in a manner that is independent of the original application software, hardware, and operating system used to create those documents.
Stock Exchange - A place where stocks, bonds, or other securities are bought and sold.
Trend - To extend, incline, or veer in a specified direction; to show a general tendency.
